A yearly charge on some freehold new-build homes for maintaining roads, lighting and green spaces that the council has not adopted. It is paid to a management company. We check how it is worked out and what happens if it goes unpaid.
The search mentions chalk and dissolution features. Is that serious?
Usually it means the ground type calls for care, not that there is a problem at the property. We explain the result, and your surveyor can say whether the house shows any sign of movement.
Do I need to come to London?
